In Stride Pet Dog Training in Fitchburg/Leominster, Massachusetts, offers compassionate pet training for your beloved dog. Experiencing private dog training has many benefits for you, your family, and your dog(s). You’ll be able to hone in on particular issues and have the training tailored to what you and your dog are having difficulties with. Private lessons allow you and your dog to work on issues on a one-on-one basis with the Trainer, as well as work on tasks in an environment that both you and your dog feel more safe, comfortable and distraction free. Even if the behaviors/troubles are occurring in and around the home environment or on walks, these topics can still be addressed and worked on in the Training Center's classroom. A Private Session is one hour in duration.

My private training is tailored to fit what both the handler and the dog needs. I use methods that make sense to both the pup and owner, and I am determined to set them both up for success. Observing your dog and teaching the handler canine behavior and body language allows one to better understand and communicate accurately to the dog. Learning these techniques help you, understand how positive reinforcement and (how to speak dog) can make training for both parties involved fun and safe.

Dogs can learn new behaviors and acquire the beneficial skills needed to succeed in our human world and families. Often, dogs require some help in learning what is being asked of them, since dog behavior differs from human behavior. I specialize in preventing behavioral problems and help in resolving them as well. In a private session, basic manners and cues are practiced and refined, behavior modification, fear, anxiety and aggression are some of the many options we work with. We also offer newly adopted or purchased puppy/dog training, crate training and house training, mouthing and puppy/adolescent dog topics. Private sessions can be so enriching for both the dog and owner because it can help create relationship you've always dreamed of and have a blast while doing so!
